East Bay Lake Salt is crafted in small batches from the shores of a narrow sandbar along the Bras d'Or Lake. The fine-course ground salt showcases a delicious fresh tang and can be incorporated with your everyday meals as both a cooking and finishing salt.
Bras d'Or Lake, meaning "arm of gold" in French, offers a milky-gold toned salt with a diverse variety of minerals dissolved in the water left behind from pre-historic glacial erosion in the scenic sloping valley. Many minerals can be found in and around the waters including quartzite, gypsum, and other volcanic deposits.
