Harvested during the storm season from the crashing tides of the Mira Bay, this fleur de sel can make any dish mouth-watering. The coarse flaked texture of the salt makes for a beautiful finish on every dish you create.
Once a bustling passage for the mining railway called the Syndey & Louisburg Railway running through Glace Bay to Louisbourg on Cape Breton Island, now just a hidden gem of scenery within Nova Scotia. While much of the tracks have been removed and repurposed as trails, the rest is left to fall victim to coastal erosion, as many of the railway track beds that followed the beachy shores of the bay wash away.
